Garrick is a Certified Financial Planner™ who wants to ensure every client has all opportunities explored and information necessary to make the best financial decisions for their unique lives. Garrick has been with Financial Symmetry since 2018 and held multiple client service roles within the firm. Before joining FSI, he worked at US Trust in Delaware and had an internship with First Tennessee Bank. As a fiduciary advisor he puts the clients’ interest first to give unbiased recommendations. He is a registered financial advisor with National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA).
Although his parents came to the US from England, Garrick was raised in Clayton, NC with his identical twin brother and now calls Sanford home. He graduated Cum Laude from Campbell University with a bachelor’s in Business Administration while majoring in Trust & Wealth Management and minoring in Financial Planning. During his time at Campbell, Garrick was a manager for the Lady Camels basketball team all four years, held roles in the Student Government Association, and is a brother in the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity.
Outside of work, Garrick enjoys spending time with his wife MaryKate, golfing, reading about military history, cooking, playing video games, and watching sports (especially the Carolina Panthers, Carolina Hurricanes, Atlanta Braves, Manchester United, and Duke Blue Devils). He also volunteers for the 3rd Decade, a nonprofit organization that provides free financial mentoring and education to young adults.
