Our team recently celebrated National Intern Day—and with that, we reflected on how we’ve built our team over the years. The majority of Financial Symmetry’s employees began their careers with us as an intern, and several are now CFP® professionals and shareholders in our firm. Any guesses on who was our first FSI intern?!
Our internship program provides local college students real world experience in the financial planning and wealth management industry, while providing us time (sometimes several months) to get to know our interns and see if they will be a good fit for us and our clients long-term.
Each of our clients benefit from the combined expertise of our Advisors, client service associates and operations team members, which includes a great group of interns. Managing and monitoring your financial health take a team, and we’re proud that our internship program has helped build a good foundation of knowledge and trust that our clients have come to expect from Financial Symmetry.
