Niamh is not only a Certified Financial Planner™ but a dedicated professional who understands that each client’s financial journey is unique. Her approach goes beyond mere numbers; she builds personal relationships, celebrating each client’s milestones and supporting them through their financial decision-making process.
Throughout her time at Financial Symmetry, Niamh has held Client Service roles, gaining comprehensive experience throughout each step of the financial planning and wealth management process. As a fee-only fiduciary advisor, Niamh ensures that her advice remains unbiased, always prioritizing her clients’ interests.

Beyond her advisory role, Niamh is a proud volunteer partner with 3rd Decade, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing young adults with free financial mentoring and education. This role reflects her commitment to making financial knowledge accessible and empowering the next generation of financial planners.
Niamh’s Background
A first-generation American with Irish citizenship, Niamh originally hails from Highlands, NJ, and moved to North Carolina in 2008. She is a proud alumna of Appalachian State University, where she earned a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Banking. During her college years, Niamh was actively involved in campus life, serving as Vice President of Campus Relations for Alpha Gamma Delta, Nu Alpha, and Secretary of the Appalachian Popular Programming Society – Concerts Council.
A Passion for Life Beyond Finance
When she’s not crafting financial strategies, Niamh is a world traveler, exploring new destinations with her fiancé, Bill. Her love for adventure also finds her fishing, reading, attending live music events, or discovering new dining spots in the triangle area.
