Holiday Scams to Avoid

This time of year is very common for scams and identity theft to occur. A recent article by USA Today, discusses 6 holiday scams to be aware of that are associated with the following:

  1. Computer hacks and card processors of major retailers
  2. Online shopping (be sure you are on the site of a reputable retailer)
  3. Package delivery scams
  4. Electronic holiday greeting cards
  5. Holiday smartphone apps
  6. Charity scams
