4 Books to Add to Your Summer Reading List

Never Split the Difference

Written by Chris Voss, a high-stakes negotiator with the FBI. This is a page-turning read that is packed with its own high-stakes negotiating. The strategies in the book apply to both business and home life. Our biggest takeaway was to slow down and consider. He said that deadlines are the boogeymen of negotiating. Check it out to learn why no deal is better than a bad deal.

The Gap and the Gain

Benjamin Hardy and Dan Sullivan provide some positive psychology in this one. Most people measure themselves against what they don’t have (their goals, what others have, etc) which leads to stress and discontent. However, if you measure yourself against how far you have come, you’ll see the gains you’ve made and it will inspire you to keep moving forward.

Simple Wealth, Inevitable Wealth

In this book, Nick Murray has written a supreme confidence builder in your ability to build wealth. He makes strong arguments backed by evidence to why having faith, discipline, and patience with your investment strategy should be your only path. The fundamental principles of investing don’t change. Rather than trying to predict outcomes, plan instead.
